Geisert Dining Hall

This week I changed it up and decided to visit Bradley University’s finest, Geisert Dining Hall. This is the largest one of two buffet dining halls here on Bradley’s campus. They are located on North Duryea Place here on Bradley’s Campus. They are open from Monday – Friday from 7:15am – 8:00pm and Saturday – Sunday from 8:30am – 4:00pm. They serve food all day, but offer the most variety during breakfast, lunch and dinner times. The menu features international entrees, grill, deli, salad, and more. I went to dinner here this week and got a mixture of the options for the day at the different stations. This included steamed corn, butter noodles, French fries, bread sticks, honey ham, and chocolate chip cookies. I have been eating here for most of the four years I have been going to Bradley and the food here is eatable but usually not very good. Tonight’s meal was an average night. Most of the food you can tell is premade frozen, and then reheated. Surprisingly the best part tonight was the steamed corn and fries. The meat was very dry; the breadstick was as hard as a rock the noodles turned into one big mush pile. Overall my expectations where not very high for this so I would give this meal 3 Geisert Dining Halls out of 5 Geisert Dining Halls.
