Bullpen Bar and Grill

This week I visited a restaurant I have not been to before, Bullpen Bar and Grill. This past weekend Bradley’s basketball team was playing in the Arch Madness tournament and my friends and I decided to go there to watch the game and get some food. This restaurant is located in the landmark center on North Dries Lane in Peoria. They are open every day at 11:00AM and close at midnight Sunday through Wednesday, and open till 1:00AM Thursday through Saturday. This restaurant is just like Buffalo Wild Wings with a sports bar type of atmosphere. There are big TVs on every wall, all playing a different game or sport. It is a great local place to watch a sporting event and they show the UFC fights there. They offer a verity of bar food link wings, pizza, and different sharable appetizers. One of my friends I was with recommended getting the chicken quesadilla. They are made to order and are a mix of copped chicken and a southwest blend of cheeses. It also comes with a side of lettuce and salsa. The blend of lettuce and salsa with the quesadilla was surprisingly good. The blend of cheese was much better then I thought it would be as well. Overall the food and the sports experience they provide, I would give this 4 bullpens out of 5.

  1. Hi Justin!

I have never heard of this place, but I do love wings and I'm pretty open to trying to new places. It's really cool that it's open late because I have a weird work schedule and I work during normal dinner hours so it's nice finding decent places that serve after 8PM! I will for sure check this place out when we get back from Spring Break!

  2. Yum, Chicken quesadillas are the way to my heart. Hahah But in all seriousness they are actually my favorite thing to eat and make. I have had them with lettuce before and although it is not common it is yummy! My favorite combination is sour cream salsa and a dash of franks red hots on my homemade quesadillas.

Might have to put this on my list of places to eat before graduation!
